Red skin with white blisters appears on the body. This is a common Psoriasis type.

  • Erythrodermic Psoriasis:

It develops on all parts of the body. It is considered rare. Redness on the skin, mild pain, with intensive itching is the prominent symptom.

Causes of Psoriasis:

The precise reason of psoriasis is indefinite. However, there are concepts that human immune system plays a big role in its development. According to some experts the human genes also contribute for development. The T-cells usually struggle against the harmful viruses and bacteria in the body. In psoriasis, these cells start a reverse process or condition by killing the healthy cells. The body augments the assembly of new cells because of this unnatural attack. Later on the new cells produced abnormally move to the exterior portion of the skin. Remember, Psoriasis is not transmittable.

Prominent risk factors:

  1. Family history.
  2. Bacterial or viral infections.
  3. Uncontrolled anxiety.
  4. Severe smoking.

Psoriasis Treatments:

Usually, the doctors refer the patients to a dermatologist. Unfortunately, psoriasis has no specific control or treatment. However, there are some options available for the patients.

Topical Therapy including the topical corticosteroids and topical retinoid is very useful. Using the vitamin D analogues, moisturizers, salicylic acid and Light Therapy have been identified helpful to treat Psoriasis.
